A week into his professional career, there haven't been too many surprises or setbacks for Khalil Greene, the Eugene shortstop who was San Diego's first-round pick in the draft.
`It's pretty much what I expected,' Greene said in his soft-spoken drawl. `It's day in and day out you've got to come ready to play offensively and defensively, and every pitcher up here, and every player, they're quality players so you've got to be at the top of your game and kick it up a notch.'
