ABIX via COMTEX) -- At least two children have died in recent years as a result of a failure in New South Wales' child protection system. This has come about because the Department of Community Services (DOCS) has "buck-passed" its responsibilities to the Family Court. In addition, documents show that DOCS had also failed to investigate allegations of child abuse because parents were involved in custody and access disputes before the court.
