Local firm helps launch new age health care plan
Herbalists, acupuncturists and other holistic medicine specialists purportedly will work side-by-side with traditional physicians in a new age health care system being launched, in part, by a San Ysidro firm.
Advertised in fliers and promoted on the front cover of Wellness Lifestyle magazine, the Wellness Lifestyle Health Plan claims to offer health care at "one-half the cost of medical insurance." After 20 years in the plan, subscribers will not be charged any more fees, the ad promises, and there are no deductibles.
