WHO SAID THE COLD WAR IS OVER?
The Berlin Wall may now be just a relic, but the other cold war goes on and on and on. Although we know a lot more about the common cold than we did in Grandma's day, there are a couple of little things we haven't yet learned - such as how to prevent it and how to cure it. At least we do know how to treat it - if you have any doubts about that, just watch the TV commercials for about five minutes any time of day or night. After all, with the use of these miracle drugs, a cold that might normally last 72 hours can now be eradicated in only...three days!
With some 200 different cold viruses running around, developing a vaccine ...
