Thrift mail-order Rx arm runs Tagamet promotion
PITTSBURGH--For the first time ever, Thrift Drug's mail-order business, Express Pharmacy Services, has distributed free co-pay discount coupons on the prescription antiulcer drug Tagamet to Pittsburgh-area, mail-order customers.
The rebate coupon, which was distributed to a small number of customers, advises them to ask their physicians if they can use Tagamet instead of Zantac. There is a limit of one coupon per customer, and the discount coupon must be accompanied by a valid prescription for Tagamet. The coupon will be honored through year-end.
