FROM the outside, it looks like a witch's house in a terrifying fairy tale: a grimy, cramped brick cottage barely 10ft from a dual carriageway in Yorkshire. The garden is overgrown with weeds, and the peeling brown front door is all but impossible to reach through the untrimmed ivy that hangs around it.
Grim and foreboding, it's not the sort of place that welcomes visitors.
