The North Syracuse school board last week reauthorized agreements with Cicero, North Syracuse, the YMCA and
Northern Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
School officials consider the arrangements - especially the shared-services agreements with the town of Cicero and the village of North Syracuse - as win-win situations that help save money for each of the parties.
Under the agreements reauthorized by the board, Cicero, North Syracuse and NAVAC buy their fuel through the district at its fuel facility. North Syracuse also uses the bus washing facilities for its vehicles.
