The company planning to connect Rochester and Toronto with a high-speed ferry is hoping to bring a similar service to Oswego.
If the Toronto-Oswego link succeeds, the ferry would be one of the first major developments outside Onondaga County spurred by Destiny USA.
Dominick DeLucia, president and chief executive officer of Canadian American Transportation Systems, predicted his company would begin serving Oswego within a few years.
