ST. LOUIS _ Mike Martz just moved into a new house in St. Louis.
Martz knows he'll be staying there for a while as he signed a contract extension on Friday that will keep him as head coach of the St. Louis Rams through the 2006 season.
"It is unusual in this profession to be in one place long enough to call it home," Martz said in a telephone interview with the Belleville News-Democrat. "This is where we began, and this really is where we would like to finish it, too. It's another step in that direction."
