Calmark Holding bought out of group planning to build Plaza Hotel downtown
Calmark Holding Co., the financially troubled West Los Angeles-based real estate developer, has been bought out of the partnership that has proposed the Pacific Basin Plaza hotel and office project in downtown Los Angeles.
SCD Hospitality L.P., a partnership that previously owned a 25 percent stake in the hotel project, has purchased Calmark's 50 percent share, Victor Lee, managing director of SCD Hospitality L.P. said last week, when reached by telephone in West Palm Beach.
