Caritas Christi Health Care, Boston, has joined Consorta, Rolling Meadows, Ill., becoming the 13th integrated delivery network to do so.
In May, Caritas Christi agreed to join 12 other health systems that are shareholders in the Catholic group purchasing organization.
Its hospitals include Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton, Mass., 239 beds; Caritas Norwood Hospital, Norwood, Mass., 265 beds; Carney Hospital, Boston, 228 beds; Holy Family Hospital and Medical Center, Methuen, Mass., 243 beds; Saint Anne's Hospital, Fall River, Mass., 165 beds; and St. Elizabeth's Medical Center of Boston, 400 beds.
