Damon's Grill is expanding its Detroit presence by doubling the number of restaurants and changing the look of the older sites.
The Columbus, Ohio-based chain signed an agreement with DMA Food Group L.L.C. in Rochester Hills to open 10 Damon's in Michigan. Mark Janes, president of DMA, said at least five of those restaurants will be in Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties.
``We're still searching for sites,'' he said. ``We'll listen to any offers that make sense.''
DMA has enlisted Griffin Restaurant Group L.L.C. in Southfield to identify new spots. Right now there are five Damon's in the metro area. Janes said he expects to open the first ...
