Jul. 20--LOS LUNAS, N.M. -- Los Lunas is taking another leap forward in economic development with plans for a 24-acre retail center at Interstate 25 and N.M. 6, anchored by a Home Depot store. The store will employ as many as 150. Home Depot plans to begin construction this month and to open the store by January.
"We are seeing a commercial influx right now, which is appreciated, and I guess Los Lunas is on the map now for some of these bigger stores," said Mayor Louis Huning.
Developer Mike Mechenbier purchased the land from Huning and his uncle Jack Huning ...
