Jul. 20--A logo created to promote Las Cruces' inclusion in two national publications mischaracterizes what was actually printed in the two magazines.
Supporters of the new logo say they are comfortable with its wording, and any differences from what was printed in the magazines are not significant.
Las Cruces' "Ranked the Best" logo, which refers to the city's high rankings in recent editions of Money and Forbes magazines, uses different language than that used by the magazines in their ratings.
