The Animal Protein Producers Industry (APPI) has released a list of participants in its 2001 survey that samples and tests animal protein meals for salmonella.
Due to a change in APPI policy, the results of the 2001 survey will not be published.
APPI's salmonella reduction and control program continues to be the most comprehensive testing system available in North America for feed ingredients, it said.
In the announcement, APPI listed its program's important benefits to the rendering industry:
