France's Hutchinson S.A. emerged at the top of the global non-tire rubber products makers heap for 2001, by virtue of its own growth and currency exchange fluctuations that affected its primary competitors.
With estimated rubber sales of $2.16 billion, Hutchinson inched ahead of Japan's Bridgestone Corp. and Germany's Freudenberg Group, with $2.07 billion and $2.06 billion, respectively.
