HANOI, July 15 Asia Pulse - The Vietnam Rubber Corporation has increased sales in the first six months by 42,132 tonnes to 114,756 tonnes. Exports have reached 94,197 tonnes, up 19,554 tonnes over the last year period.
Turnover in the period topped VND931 billion (US$61 million), with exports fetching US$52 million.
This comes at a time when rubber output has declined in Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia - the three top suppliers of the product in the world - while global demand has remained firm.
