Food irradiation: the myth and the reality
T Webb & T Lang A most comprehensive and well documented case against the use of food irradiation in the UK is made in this handbook. The authors, from the London Food Commission, have highlighted their conclusions from a wide range of studies and argue, with obvious conviction, of their conversion from an initial belief in the benefits of food irradiation to what is now a position of total opposition.
