THERE are cars like turbocharged Vauxhall people carriers for "Daddy Cool" (or Mummy Cool) but can grownups who want to have fun live with a real, extravagant two-seater sports car?
Yes, at least one of your offspring is going to be disappointed but the one with the prized place in the passenger seat will think you're an absolute hero. When it comes to adding something "silly" to the family car pool, it's normally a Porsche Boxster, BMW Z3 or Audi TT that ends up cluttering the driveway.
Now Lotus wants a slice of the action with its Elise 111S. Up until this point, the Elise has represented the purist's end of the sports ...
