The major benefit of mobile (walking) epidurals in terms of spontaneous vaginal birth doesn't boil down to the degree of preserved motor function at the time the patient is at full dilation, Dr. Samina Bharmal said at the annual meeting of the Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology.
