NEW YORK -- Sandler O'Neill & Partners, L.P., a full-service investment banking firm specializing in financial services companies, announced today that William A. Eagan, III will join the firm as a Managing Director in its Investment Banking Group, effective September 3, 2002.
Mr. Eagan, who has more than 20 years of senior investment banking experience at UBS Warburg, JP Morgan and Lehman Brothers, will focus on advising U.S. depository institutions, commercial banks and thrifts in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.
