MAXINE - 10st 4lbs
'Woke up to start new diet,' writes Norma. 'Couldn't face the idea of the soup I'd made the night before for breakfast so I had a glass of water.
'We both took soup to work. I warmed mine up and ate it with a spoon but found I didn't really like eating it at my desk. I also had a kiwi fruit and apple to eat as snack.
'Later at the pub I avoided the alcohol and opted for a mineral water with a slice of lemon.
