Jul. 31--ARLINGTON, Texas--Using terms more akin to a military briefing than a budget briefing, the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau president asked the City Council on Tuesday for a $235,000 budget increase.
Linda DiMario spoke of the bureau facing a "three-front campaign" and a need to "regroup, defend and attack."
"To leave our current market share open and vulnerable to invasion is not good for Arlington," DiMario said.
