NEWARK, N.J. -- This is an electric power advisory from PSE&G, the utility serving two million electric customers in New Jersey, and PJM, the electric power grid operator for more than 25 million customers in seven states and the District of Columbia.
PJM and PSE&G continue to expect higher than usual demand for electricity today, the fourth day of 90-degree weather and high humidity in the region. To help prevent potential power supply problems, PJM and PSE&G ask that customers continue using electricity prudently, especially between the hours of noon and 7PM, when power demand is at its highest.
