One might expect that after a $42 million renovation, the Royal Oasis Golf Resort and Casino on Grand Bahama Island (formerly the Resort and Casino at Bahamia) would be a completely cohesive property. That, however, is not the case, nor was it ever the intention. This exciting new resort is a first for the Bahamas, as it is a dual-branded property, one side being a Crowne Plaza for the more upscale vacationer and business traveler, and the other side is a fun-loving Holiday Inn Sunspree for families and budget travelers. While visitors are free to move between the properties, each side has a distinctive flavor appropriate to the brand.
