TON furniture maker retains most of CZK 20 mln profit from 2001

Prague July 3 INTERFAX EUROPE - TON, a Czech furniture maker, will retain CZK 19 mln of its CZK 20 mln 2001 profit, shareholders decided during last week's AGM.

The company will transfer CZK 1 mln to its reserve fund.

TON's profits fell by CZK 7 mln yr/yr and sales fell by CZK 125 mln to CZK 1.1 bn. The company attributed to the decline in sales to problems caused by the September 11 terrorist attacks on the US. The ...
