A sleeker, bolder-looking Bucky Badger will greet returning UW-Madison students this fall after a year-long revamp of the university mascot's design.
The changes aren't major -- mostly it's just a thicker black line outlining the scrappy little badger's strutting, barrel-chested pose -- but university officials think it was worth the work. Bucky has had basically the same design for more than 50 years.
