Springfield Armory produces one of the most extensive lines of 1911 style semi-auto pistols. The Micro Compact is a fairly recent addition and is the most compact and lightest of the 1911 line.
ACTION TYPE AND FEATURES
The Micro Compact is a typical compact 1911 design that employs the Browning swinging link locking system as well as a dual recoil spring system. The barrel bushing has been dispensed with. Instead, the barrel mates directly to the slide.
