Aug. 4--Hey, thought this would interest you. Pass it on: E-mail is a lightning-fast source of vast amounts of information -- some of it absolute bunk.

That's the message from UC Davis Medical Center, which found its own prestigious name attached to a questionable e-mail last week. The e-mail, which already has been exposed by a half-dozen Internet hoax-busters, claims that microwaved plastic wrap can give you cancer.
