Aug. 4--FORT WORTH, Texas--All this week, Katheryn Raper and her four children have tried on clothes and shoes at Ridgmar and Hulen malls.
But Raper, who lives in Aledo, didn't open her wallet to spend $1,000 on back-to-school items until Friday, when the state's fourth annual sales tax holiday began.
"We wrote down the sizes and the styles we wanted, but we waited until today to purchase," Raper said. "It's been extremely easy."
