Aug. 3--HOUSING 'BUBBLE' TALK SOUNDS WELL REHEARSED: It has all the kinds of things the working press drools over -- tension, potential conflict, a dash of arcane economics, a fair amount of bluster and hand-wringing consumers -- but the "bubble" story could be the nonstory of the year in housing.
Some of the commentary is getting fairly extreme (for economists).
"Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan's testimony before Congress (July 16) refutes, once and for all, the existence of an alleged housing market 'bubble,'" the National Association of Realtors ...
