Manuel Borja, vice-president of Finances of Grupo Posadas, said that in spite of the economic crisis that Brazil is facing, Grupo Posadas will develop 15 hotels in that country during the period of 2002-2004. Borja considered that the economic problems that Brazil faces, are temporary and in the long term he anticipates a recovery.
