I very much appreciate the opportunity to return to India after a too long absence of four years. It was in India that The Conference Board held its first Working Group meeting on Global Business Ethics Principles.
Today our ethics program includes a Working Group on the Role of Business in Zones of Crisis (we will be having a meeting on that subject on Wednesday), a project with The World Bank on Private Sector Anti-Corruption Initiatives in East Asia, a joint venture with the Social Investment Forum on Ethically Screened Investments, and a project on the role of Boards of Directors in Company Ethics Programs.
