SANTA ANA, Calif. _ The Battle at Bighorn was the most successful of the four made-for-television exhibition matches, not just for the golf but for the glimpse of the past it allowed.
The golf was spectacular last week, but the camaraderie among the players was even better. Personalities were as prominent as birdies and appreciated more.
While Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia were showing Jack Nicklaus and Lee Trevino how the game has evolved, Nicklaus and Trevino were demonstrating to their younger partners how fun the game used to be.
