He's no longer the top executive at Pacific Continental Bank, but J. Bruce Riddle will get nearly the same pay, benefits and perks for the coming 11 months as when he worked every day.
Riddle, who resigned without public explanation in July after 22 years at the helm of the Eugene-based bank, will receive $400,000 in severance pay through July 15, 2003, including a $177,500 bonus to be paid to him next January.
He'll also get pay for unused vacation, plus health, dental and life insurance, country club memberships, season tickets to University of Oregon football and basketball games, and a great deal on a ...
