ILGWU PICKETING COONTINUES OUTSIDE OF REBECCA MOSES
NEW YORK - A small group of International Ladies Garment Workers Union members continued picketing Monday outside the showroom of the Rebecca Moses Collection.
The picketers, who have been demonstrating for two weeks, charge the designer should use only ILGWU designated contractors to produce the sportswear she makes in the U.S.
The firm currently splits its contracting work in the U.S. between union and non-union facilities, according to Deborah Moses, the Moses Collection's executive vice president and chief operations officer and sister of the designer. The percentages vary from season to ...
