2002 AUG 14 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- A study published in the July issue of the journal Pediatrics shows that Elidel (pimecrolimus) Cream 1% significantly reduced the incidence of atopic dermatitis (also known as eczema) flares, as well as the use of corticosteroids. The data were initially presented in February at the 2002 American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) meeting in New Orleans.
