ABIX via COMTEX) -- Mitsubishi Corporation recorded a group net profit of Y28.7bn for the three months ending 30 June 2002. The result represents an increase of 0.2 for the Japanese-based trading firm. Marubeni Corporation, a rival trading company, recorded an increase in group net profit to Y10.11bn for the same period. Mitsui recorded an 8.9 decrease in group net profit and Itochu Corporation recorded a 24 decrease in group net profit to Y9.23bn.
