LUKASHENKO FOR BOOSTING FUNCTIONS OF CIS ECONOMIC COURT

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has advocated reinforcing the operation of the CIS Economic Court. "The Economic Court of the Commonwealth should take fundamental decisions as it is done within the Belarus-Russia Union State," Lukashenko said meeting with judges from the court in question in Minsk on Friday.

The head of state informed he is "an advocate of boosting the authority of the Economic Court and expanding its activities." "I believe decisions of the CIS Economic Court should be final, effected immediately, and should not be treated as mere suggestions," stressed Lukashenko.
