WAUSAU (AP) -- With prices like these, you'd think they'd throw in a chauffeur.
The cost of a new 700-car city parking ramp has ballooned to $20 million.
The City Council agreed in January to borrow $9 million from the state to build the ramp and a connecting skywalk to an office building.
But since then, city officials have added plans for a top floor outfitted to accommodate a possible hotel and a ground-floor retail level, pushing the cost to more than double the original projection.
