WHILE on holiday in Spain last week, I noticed the beach bars had this great way to stop cigarette ends blowing out of ashtrays. It's cheap, easy and would look fab at an outdoor party. Or you could just use it as a stylish plant pot.
Step 1: You need: a teracotta pot and matching drip tray, sponge, craft knife and some tester pots of paints.
Step 2: Cut pieces of car sponge into square shapes to use as stencils. Using the sponges, create a chequerboard pattern around the pot. Remember to paint the ...
