LONDON: British Nuclear Fuels' (BNFL) group corporate affairs director Philip Dewhurst has called on the services of his former PR agency to provide public affairs advice.
Following the revamp of BNFL's in-house communications team late last year, Dewhurst has handed the public affairs brief to Weber Shandwick Worldwide, the agency where he was UK CEO until his present appointment a year ago.
The appointment follows a three-way pitch, and takes the public affairs brief away from long-term incumbent Bell Pottinger Public Affairs. Sister company Bell Pottinger Communications retains control of the PR brief.
