NEW Matalan chief executive Paul Mason has poached another former Asda colleague for a top job at the discount retailer, this time as finance director,
Phil Dutton, who holds the same position at the supermarkets group, starts at Matalan next month.
His appointment means half the top team at the group has been wooed from Asda. Mason, formerly managing director there, joined Matalan in January and since then has hired former colleagues Andy Clarke as retail director and Roger Burnley as supply chain director.
