Toronto-based Cott Corporation has acquired Premium Beverage Packers, Inc., Wyomissing, Pa.
Cott expects the deal to raise its presence in the Northeast. "Premium, which has a long-standing relationship with Cott as a key co-packer, is ideally located to service one of the most densely populated areas in the country," says Frank E. Weise, president and CEO.
Prior to the acquisition, privately held Premium manufactured and distributed a complete line of carbonated and non-carbonated beverages, including sparkling waters, seltzers and mixes.
