Aug. 14--Although they'll begin a day later than planned, hearings regarding the proposed expansion of the Manheim Auto Auction will get started Wednesday before Penn Township officials.
The two township Zoning Hearing Board sessions will be held Wednesday and Thursday, starting at 7 o'clock both nights at the township building, 97 N. Penryn Road, Manheim.
The hearings come as a group of township residents are challenging the township's decision to rezone 268 acres next to the auction, a move that would pave the way for the expansion.
