Aug. 14--Orlando Sentinel Communications has joined the area's growing list of major companies that are opening their employee-giving campaigns to more than United Way charities, a company spokeswoman said Tuesday.
Previously, the 1,400-employee company offered payroll deductions only for a list of Central Florida's United Way charities.
Starting this fall, the Orlando Sentinel Family Fund, part of the Robert R. McCormick Tribune Foundation, will be added as a giving option.
