Onex Corporation (TSX:OCX) today announced its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2002.
-- Revenues for the quarter were $6.1 billion compared to $6.3 billion for the second quarter of 2001.
-- Operating earnings, defined below, were $357 million for the second quarter, up 16% from $308 million for the same quarter last year.
-- Net earnings from continuing operations were $49 million ($0.31 per share) compared to a loss $163 million ($1.00 per share) for the second quarter of 2001.
