Aug. 16--A 68-pound pit bull traveling inside an American Airlines' cargo hold bit through garden hose-sized electrical cables, prompting the carrier to ban dogs of that breed -- as well as Rottweilers and Doberman Pinschers -- from its planes.
Mixed breeds of Pit Bulls, Rottweilers and Dobermans, as well as other dogs that exhibit aggressive behavior before boarding, will also get bumped.
