Aug. 17--ATWOODS STORE TO OPEN IN SAND SPRINGS PLAZA: Atwood Distributing Inc. will open a store late next month in Sand Springs, the company announced Friday.
The Enid-based company said the 54,000-square-foot store will be in the former Keystone Plaza at 730 E. Charles Page Blvd. and will anchor the newly named Atwoods Plaza.
The store will be the Tulsa area's fifth Atwoods. It will employ about 50 people, said Brian Atwood, company vice president.
"The Sand Springs store will offer a unique blend of products that appeal to both country and city folks," Atwood said.
