WHOLE crop winter wheat cutting and ensiling is well under way across the Province. In the majority of farms good establishment has ensured high yields of quality winter feed despite the summer weather conditions.
Whole crop cereals are now quite popular on many dairy farms and fresh yields of over ten tonnes per acre are common.
